Location was perfect and ticked all our boxes
We had a great stay. Location was perfect and ticked all our boxes. As with other reviews, the private path is steep but we had no issues there. We did encounter a water problem which took a few days to remedy. Communication was fairly good with a bit of nudging. Waiheke is paradise.
Wonderful place with an epic view
Wonderful place with an epic view in a fantastic location. We had a few issues with the door/windows and water, but the host was very responsive and helped to remedy the situations effectively. I would be happy to visit again, and highly recommend it!

Had an excellent stay at Matapana...the view over Palm Beach is stunning with a wonderful window seat and decks to enjoy it from. The home exudes a contemporary warmth, was clean, very well equipped and well documented. We encountered no problems or issues during our stay and Coast & Country communicated well about our arrival and departure arrangements. A private path/steps provide access down the hill from the property to the beach. Guests with mobility issues may find the steepness of this path challenging. Fortunately, that was not an issue for us, and we look forward to staying at this wonderful property again!
