The Sanctuary, Orapiu is a Hilltop retreat for couples looking for a peaceful and spellbinding escape which is off the beaten track. It sits above Orapiu Bay and has breathtaking views over the water, offering serene surroundings.
The spacious open-plan living with Bifold doors that open out to the sweeping views and wrap around decks. Soak in the Cedar spa and enjoy the sunrise over the islands in the morning round to the evening sun set over the distant view of Auckland.
There is a galley style kitchen and the laundry with washer & dryer and a full bathroom on the living level and stairs lead you up to the master ensuite.
It is a short distance to many of the world class wineries and attractions on Waiheke Island. With spectacular views from every angle, this retreat is the perfect getaway for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Incredible ocean views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coast & County holiday batch at waiheke Island. We found the space clean, cosy, tastefully decorated with incredible ocean views. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay on the island.

The location was peaceful and picturesque
We enjoyed our stay in the east end of Waiheke. While quite distant from the villages of Waiheke, the location was peaceful and picturesque. We had a lovely time. Communications were friendly and prompt and we found the cottage to be very comfortable. The driveway is as steep as others have noted, but we were able to navigate it with a little patience.
There will be zero regrets when choosing to stay here!
There aren’t enough words to describe the view that you get to soak in here. Then there’s the amazing property to go along with it, just wow. There will be zero regrets when choosing to stay here, and you even get a beautiful countryside experience on your way there. Between the accommodations, the impeccable communication and the wonderful suggestions we had the most amazing stay!
It was spacious, comfortable with unbelievable views
We stayed three nights at this beautiful, peaceful spot. It was spacious, comfortable with unbelievable views, not only from the large deck, but also from the bathroom and tub upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to make meals. The place is off the beaten path, but the drive to get there has spectacular views. We spent the day out visiting wineries and beaches, then looked forward to settling in to this remarkable home for the evening. Would highly recommend a stay here.
