Makora Lookout is an idyllic beach house situated on a quiet lane overlooking the sea! It is the perfect place to relax on your island get away.  Enjoy this stylish environment whilst soaking up the ocean views or stroll to the beach or villageÂ
The open plan lounge and kitchen opens out onto wrap around sunny decks with far reaching views over the sparkling sea . The bedrooms lead off from the dining area, the Master bedroom opens up onto the front deck and has views across the foliage and out to the sea, there is also a twin room and bathroom on the living level and some stairs lead to a third bedroom space with sofa bed which can be made up on request sleeping and additional person.
This hidden gem provides a perfect base from which to visit world class vineyards and restaurants or explore stunning coastal walks and beaches with family and friends, or simply relax and read a book on the sun drenched deck.

Lovely setting, with a view of the bay. Quiet neighbourhood. We had rented a car so it was easy to explore the island, but noticed there was a bus stop within walking distance. The bottle of wine and bottles of water were a welcome treat!

It was a great place to stay in. The place was cosy and comfortable. Great views and had all the amenities. The barbecue was all set up and it had all the ingredients to make for some lovely summer time ! Even allowed us a late check out! Close to the main town centre but still quiet and relaxing! Thanks to the host for leaving us a lovely bottle of wine! 😀😀

Overall the place was lovely, the host was so helpful and sent us everything we needed to know. The house is in a great location and is a walkable distance to the beach. The place was spotless and made our overall stay so enjoyable. We defiantly have plans to come back.

A lovely stay, perfect for our short winter stay in Waiheke. The views from the lounge, master bedroom and loft were fabulous. The loft bed was sadly extremely uncomfortable, but would be ok for kids who might not feel the cross bars. Lovely welcome gift from a very responsive host!
A beautifully located property with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable
It’s in the small details that make a difference with this gem of a property. When we arrived on the island we were met by a friendly taxi driver who knew the property we were going to, he spoke highly of the place and owners. That gave us confidence that our choice was a good one. The property is elevated so you have some amazing views of the ocean and the local area. A beautifully located property with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. We loved the bottle of wine on arrival, nice touch. Oh and the real coffee available was 5 stars for us. The beds were so comfy with perfect pillows and beautiful linen. A great kitchen with everything we needed. Wish our stay was a couple of days longer. Will definitely recommend to friends and will book if we visit Waiheke again.
