OCEAN BREEZE COTTAGE is a hidden gem situated along the eastern ridgeline of Onetangi. With huge sunny decks and a fantastic cedar spa, it’s the perfect oasis for couples. This property is light and charming and captures incredible sunrises ,has all-day sun and the magical evening light. You have far reaching views over Piemellon Bay, to Little Barrier Island which sits perched on the horizon.
Onetangi Beach is one of the most beautiful white sand beaches on the island with crystal clear water and world class restaurants, Vineyards and cafes, convenient superette, wine shop, takeaway and petrol station and you are a 15 min walk or a short drive down the road!
Pop for a swim and rinse off in the outside shower, jump into the huge hot tub and just relax, staring out across the ocean. It’s an ideal place to holiday and get away from the world.
The one bedroom cottage is single level, open plan and extremely light and charming. It contains a queen bedroom and a full bathroom with laundry. The kitchen, living and dining area has doors that open out to the wrap around sun-drenched deck with cedar hot tub perfectly positioned to capture the stunning sea views.
To the left of the main dwelling sits a tidy one bedroom sleepout with it's own entrance and ½ bathroom - making it convenient to have friends and family over - sleeping an additional 2 guests ( there is an additional nightly rate p/p p/n)
PRICING is Based on 2 guests but can sleep a max of 4 guests

What a lovely oasis! Loved the entire property from the views, the coastal decor and comfortable layout and the spa. Good location to explore the many beautiful attractions of Weiheke. We will be back

The house had everything we needed, was super clean and nicely furnished.
Wonderful stay, the house had everything we needed, was super clean and nicely furnished. The bed was super comfy and loved the hot tub. We took our car over and the location to be fantastic - very short drive to best beach on the island (onetangi) and some great restaurants, four square is close by, and only 10 mins to get to vineyards like Tantalus and Casita Miro. Also a great location for a road trip out to the east. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!
Summer Bliss
We spent two weeks over NY at Ocean Breeze Cottage and it was brilliant - perfect for a couple. The communication; welcome and help from Penny (the manager) was excellent. The house and verandah and views was bettter than we were expecting. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a great stay at this cozy little spot. The living room windows open up to a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. There’s lots of outdoor furniture for comfort to enjoy the scenery. The hot tub was ready to use once we checked in. The house was stocked with everything we needed. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The one thing we didn’t realize was the distance to things. We don’t mind walking so we were able to catch the bus to dinners. Keep in mind, the bus stop is about a 20 min walk from the house and there aren’t many sidewalks. It may be beneficial to rent the car option that comes with the property, we opted out of the car rental because we planned to be wine tasting so driving wasn’t the best option for us. Overall we had a great time in Waiheke.
