Frenchmans Hill Winemakers Cottage is extremely stylish boutique vineyard accommodation with stunning views over the 12 acre mature vineyard and olive groves. This unique and ultra stylish island retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind. From your private deck you can soak up the magnificent scenery of the vineyard and shimmering waters of the Putiki Bay or take a walk along one of the islands stunning coastal tracks. The beaches of Palm Beach and Onetangi are a short drive as are the numerous award winning wineries and restaurants. The property is centrally located so nothing is far away.
The Cottage is perfectly set up to enjoy the vineyard views and the two bedrooms have north-facing windows, and are adorned with stylish and sumptuous fabrics.

Frenchman’s Hill is the perfect escape.

Afternoon sunsets with a drink on the lower deck made a great end to a day
We loved our 4 day stay at the Winemakers Cottage, and could have stayed longer. Morning visits by Coco the dog were welcome. Afternoon sunsets with a drink on the lower deck made a great end to a day. The location is central to the island attractions, however without a car getting around would have meant a lot more planning to catch the bus.
Place had lovely views and was nice and clean.

Magnificent stay
Magnificently appointed cottage with a view to die for. We enjoyed evening drinks overlooking the vineyard and bay. The compact kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Location was great to sightsee the whole island. We would return!!

The Winemakers Cottage was perfect in every way.
It was a girls weekend to relax and reconnect and the Winemakers Cottage was perfect in every way....we did have a car which made things very accessible and we covered the whole island. The cottage was 15-20mins drive from the ferry port. The bus would have been fine around 40-50 mins if we had more time but there were so many great places on the Island that we wanted to visit from beaches, walks, wineries and even a gin distillery... My girlfriends who live in NZ will definitely be back and I hope I can bring my family from Oz over! Thank you once again!
Spacious bedrooms and a great sized bathroom
Fantastic air bnb. Bigger than what it looked like in the photos - spacious bedrooms and a great sized bathroom. Beautiful view and very peaceful. we had a lovely time and will be back during Vinyard season. The kids loved smelling the lavender along the driveway and watching all the bees. Thanks for having us!

Nicely made up, perfect for three friends or a couple and two kids. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice surprise and the views are stunning. Would definitely stay again!
